Happy National Volunteer Week, and Happy Earth Day! This past Saturday, our team spent the day volunteering at our first Shred Day of the year at our Newberg Branch! First Federal puts on these events to help prevent identity theft by shredding important documents for community members. Through this event, we were also able to collect lots of food donations for Newberg FISH Emergency Service Food Pantry! In the spirit of Earth Day, we also see this as a great time to encourage our customers to go paperless! By enrolling in eStatments through Online Banking, you’re limiting the amount of paper that would need to be shredded. Thank you all who came to Jill's retirement reception yesterday! What a great way to celebrate her amazing career of 44 years in banking and 38 years as a Human Resources professional. 11 of those years were with First Federal as Human Resources Director, and we are so thankful for her time with us and will miss her greatly!
