Next Generation of Banking LeadersGraduate from OBA Executive Development Program The Oregon Bankers Association (OBA) is proud to recognize 22 bankers who comprise the 2018 graduating class of the Oregon Executive Development Program (EDP). The comprehensive 11-month program is designed to cultivate the next generation of banking leaders. EDP is a way for aspiring executives to elevate their career and for financial institutions to invest in the bank leaders of tomorrow. A graduation ceremony was held December 4 in Portland in conjunction with the Pacific Northwest Bank Leadership Symposium. The Executive Development Program was brought to Oregon in partnership with Washington Bankers Association for the first time in 2016. OBA Past Chair Chris Karlin, retired from U.S. Bank, served as an advisor to students throughout the program. In addition to speaker presentations, students worked together in small groups, completed homework assignments, and engaged with their bank mentors for one-on-one counsel. The OBA will be offering the yearlong Executive Development Program again in 2020. Space is limited, so those interested should reserve a spot early by contacting Lori Kaliher at lkaliher@oregonbankers.com or (503) 576-4108.
