C8 Capital Network is the banking industry's commercial lending network, owned by participating state bankers associations and built to give member banks more ways to serve customers, manage lending capacity, and pursue new business.
The network connects banks nationwide to one another, vetted private capital providers, and commercial lending opportunities. Through C8, banks can refer financing requests that fall outside their lending criteria to non-depository private capital providers while maintaining the customer relationship, share and receive commercial loan participations beyond their existing networks, and access qualified lending opportunities matched to their credit criteria.
There’s no cost to activate, no technology to install, and no minimum activity required. Banks choose which capabilities they use and when.
